The primary purpose is to support the front office personnel, welcome, and screen guests and incoming calls. This is a critical position in that this person serves as the hub for the majority of inbound contacts to our team of professionals and will be the first impression of Metalworking Solutions to our guests. Professional excellence in decorum and work results is required at all times. This role supports the entire office in administrative tasks and supports multiple departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that the front office personnel are well equipped to carry out their duties; this includes having appropriate office supplies available to ensuring printers and copiers are fully functional.
It is important to provide this team with prompt, and accurate clerical support in correspondence, proposal, and presentation preparation, proofing, and event planning. From time to time, it will be necessary to arrange for food to be brought in for different groups, reservations to be made at different venues and even travel arrangements to be booked. This position supports all departments for administrative needs such as processing MVRs, scanning Proof of Deliveries and Purchase Orders, keeping office supplies stocked, etc.

- Strong organizational and administrative skills (extreme attention to detail, priority/time management.)
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated event planning skills (i.e. luncheons, reservations, company outings.)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be efficient at typical clerical duties such as scanning, data entry, filing, telephone console operation and usage.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of administration experience in a Manufacturing environment.
Office and plant environment with the requirement to be on the plant floor for a substantial timeframe. While in the plant, ear and eye protection are required. You occasionally may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, some exposure to non-hazardous fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is usually moderate. Eye protection is required in the form of a welding helmet or safety glasses as situations dictate.
COMPENSATION & WORK HOURS
$15 an hour.
20-25 hours a week.
